Pleasantly surprised!!!!!
I'm really impressed with this large dog crate furniture! Once I got it all put together, it feels sturdy and looks great in my home. It doesn’t resemble a typical dog crate — more like a stylish piece of furniture. Putting it together took a bit of time, but the instructions were clear and everything fit perfectly. Now that it’s assembled, I can tell it's made to last. My dog loves it, and I appreciate how it enhances the room instead of detracting from it. For sure worth it!

I’m updating my review to give it 5 stars because Colby helped out by sending new doors after the original ones were bent. The customer service was outstanding. The assembly directions aren't the best, but my husband managed it with his experience. If you’re not handy, you might find it a bit tricky. It took us about an hour to get it set up. I do wish the backing board was thicker, considering it’s meant for a dog. The drawers are pretty fragile, so you won't want to put anything heavy in them, but they are huge! Our dog adores it and spends a ton of time in there, acting like he's living in luxury. The latches are held with little screws, which is funny unless you've got a chihuahua. So far, our bulldog has been easy on it, but he is 49 lbs. The quality and finish are decent given the price. It's a solid deal for what you get, just don't expect something that'll last forever. Also, if your dog tends to be wild or destructive, this might not be the right choice since it could easily be damaged. However, for calm pups who enjoy their own space, it's perfect. Colby's updates on shipping were great and I appreciated the support.

Update: changing to 5 stars bc Hawkins Woodshop assisted me with delivering new doors as the bars were bent and warped. Exceptional customer support. Directions aren’t great- but luckily my husband is very knowledgeable at assembling. If you’re not, be ready to have a challenge. It took us about an hour to put together. The backing board should have been a lot thicker given the fact this is for a dog. The drawer bottoms are so thin you cannot put anything heavy in them. But the drawers are absolutely huge. So far our boy likes it and spends a lot of time in there. He acts like we gave him a palace. The latches are held on by 1/4” screws which is hilarious unless you have a chihuahua. Not sure how well that will hold up. But our guy has been very gentle and doesn’t chew or get crazy, but he is a 49 lb bulldog after all. The hardware and finishes are decent given the price. It’s definitely a good price for what you get. Just don’t expect an heirloom piece here. And definitely do not buy if you have a dog who is rambunctious or destructive in any way bc I don’t think it would take much to destroy the locks or bust out of the bars. If you have a calm pup with a gentle demeanor who loves being in their “house” this piece of furniture is for you. Hawkins Woodshop was communicative on the shipping process and very helpful, which I appreciate.
