Spacious and roomy
Update: bumping this to 5 stars because Colby stepped in and helped me get replacement doors when the originals showed up bent and warped. Really good customer service. The assembly instructions could be clearer, but my husband knows his way around tools so we managed. Took about an hour to put it together. If you're not handy, fair warning—it's going to be tricky. The backing could've been thicker for a dog crate, and those drawer bottoms are thin so don't load them up with anything heavy. That said, the drawers themselves are massive. Our dog adores it—seriously acts like he's living in a palace. The latches are held down with 1/4" screws, which seems kind of flimsy if you have a smaller dog, but ours is a 49 lb bulldog and he's never been rough with it. The hardware and finish look fine for the price. This isn't something you'd pass down to your kids, but you're getting decent value. Just skip it if your dog is the destructive or crazy type—those latches and bars wouldn't stand up to that kind of abuse. Works great for a calm, gentle dog who likes having their own space. Colby was easy to reach about shipping and helpful throughout the whole thing.

Really happy with this. My two dogs love it! Didn't expect the LED lights to be included. The instructions said to put them underneath, but since I have carpet I ended up installing them on the inside instead and it works great. Build quality is solid, the instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the drawers work well. Assembly takes some time and attention but it's worth it. Nice color too!

Update: changing to 5 stars bc Hawkins Woodshop assisted me with delivering new doors as the bars were bent and warped. Exceptional customer support. Directions aren’t great- but luckily my husband is very knowledgeable at assembling. If you’re not, be ready to have a challenge. It took us about an hour to put together. The backing board should have been a lot thicker given the fact this is for a dog. The drawer bottoms are so thin you cannot put anything heavy in them. But the drawers are absolutely huge. So far our boy likes it and spends a lot of time in there. He acts like we gave him a palace. The latches are held on by 1/4” screws which is hilarious unless you have a chihuahua. Not sure how well that will hold up. But our guy has been very gentle and doesn’t chew or get crazy, but he is a 49 lb bulldog after all. The hardware and finishes are decent given the price. It’s definitely a good price for what you get. Just don’t expect an heirloom piece here. And definitely do not buy if you have a dog who is rambunctious or destructive in any way bc I don’t think it would take much to destroy the locks or bust out of the bars. If you have a calm pup with a gentle demeanor who loves being in their “house” this piece of furniture is for you. I’m really impressed with this large dog crate furniture! Once assembled, it’s sturdy and has a great decorative look that blends nicely with my home. It doesn’t look like a typical dog crate at all — more like a stylish piece of furniture. The assembly wasn’t difficult, but it did take a little time to put everything together properly. The instructions were clear, and all the parts fit well. Once it was done, I could tell it was built to last. My dog loves it, and I love how it adds to the room instead of taking away from it. Definitely worth it!
