I like how the bed looks, it does need a longer twin mattress and thicker to come above the bottom of the headboard. We transitioned my son from a toddler bed to this and the height from the floor is perfect for that. I purchased this 8 months ago and it has broken twice. Once my three year old jumped on me sitting on the bed and the other him and two other little ones were playing and it broke. The wood supporting the slats just detaches and falls straight to the ground. We did use it as a guest bed for an adult for a few nights and my husband has fallen asleep in it before and it supports adults fine, just no jumping! I just added 4 2x4s, one under each existing piece of wood. Hoping we won’t have anymore issues. It is cheap enough, a few extra supports aren’t an issue. If it breaks again, I will be done with it. Will update if that happens.

Impossible to get ahold of support.
Can not figure out how to order replacement parts. The plastic middle support broke and without it this bed is completely useless. I've emailed and called. Have not heard back. And the number goes to a google subscriber voicemail. Very dissatisfied. Update: I did eventually get an email back and was sent this replacement x2… im not sure why originally it was plastic.. But the replacement is way more sturdy. It’s some kind of pressed wood. I replaced both sides and the bed is more sturdy and usable again!!

Good for the money
We purchased this bed frame (king) for our guest room. I was a little hesitant at first to purchase this bed frame, based on the reviews, but we were trying to stick within a certain budget, so I decided to take a chance. It came packaged in one, long box. Everything was included and not damaged, despite the guys that delivered it did not handle it with care. The instructions were pretty easy to read and follow. They include an extra of each hardware, which I do like. Overall, it took me a little over an hour to put it together, but it was easy. It doesn’t feel extremely sturdy, but it’s not overly flimsy either. For what you pay, it is sturdy enough to feel comfortable laying on it and sleeping in it. My only complaint is that is very low to the ground. We had an ultra low Tempurpedic mattress board for our king mattress, so we used that. It’s only 2.5” thick, so it didn’t raise the mattress up too much further. The slats that come with the frame recess a little into the bed frame, so in all, the mattress foundation board we had only lifted our mattress up about 1” or so. If you get this, I would recommend having some sort of board to lift a little bit. Maybe something that could lift the mattress up about 4-5”, otherwise it is pretty low. Overall, we are happy with it and it will serve its purpose for guests. If you’re looking for something inexpensive, but still looks nice, I would recommend this bed frame.
