Well worth the investment!
After doing a lot of research and looking through numerous reviews, I decided to give the SAIJI Table a shot. I’m glad I did! It arrived with top-notch packaging, so kudos to the packing team at Hawkins Woodshop. The table is wrapped in PVC leather just as described, and the legs are robust with sturdy plastic. The adjustable laptop stopper is super handy too. The wood quality is impressive, and the PVC beading looks clean and neat. I also received a nice cotton towel as a bonus, which was a lovely surprise. The dimensions are just right—not too small or too big—for various spaces. It folds nicely as well. Overall, I’d give this a solid five stars based on my first impressions after two weeks of use. I'll update if I run into any problems. I initially got it with a coupon and bank offer, but I still think it’s a bit pricey; I just hope it lasts a long time!

Buy the large size for kids
This is a great lap desk! I went with the large size for my 9-year-old granddaughter, and when my 4-year-old granddaughter saw it, I had to get a second one. They do homework, crafts, and even eat in front of the TV with them sometimes. They’re sturdy and have held up well, even with a toddler using them as a seat! The desks fold flat so they can be easily stored against the wall or on the coffee table. I’ve noticed the folding locks can be a bit tricky—they hold the tilt well, but if you push a little too hard, you can fold the legs in even when they're locked. I’ve forgotten to unlock them before, but there’s been no damage. Overall, I really like these tables and my family does too. I’d buy them again, especially when the youngest decides she wants her own! Highly recommended.

Great Laptop Stand for Home Use
I picked this up so I can work from anywhere in the house, and it's been awesome. It's sturdy and gives me plenty of space to get things done. I appreciate being able to tilt it as needed.

One downside to this medium-sized desk is that it’s foldable, and the legs are just 11.6 inches long. That’s pretty short compared to my other bed desks, making it a bit unstable on a soft bed. It tips over easily with a little nudge or if something like a blanket gets caught on it. It’s especially unsteady if I have my laptop propped up on it and the desk is at a taller setting. I see this as a tradeoff for a lightweight desk that can adjust in height. I wouldn’t want it to be heavier or bulkier just for better balance since there are plenty of other options out there. Just keep in mind this desk is best used on a solid surface; if not, you need to be cautious to avoid tipping it. That said, I really appreciate how lightweight and premium it feels. The faux leather top is much better than wood or plastic since my mouse and papers don’t slip around as much, plus it feels warmer and softer to the touch.

Essential for DJs on the go
This is perfect for my DJ setup. It gives a much more professional look than just having my laptop on other gear. Accessing my laptop is so much simpler now, no more bending down! I used velcro to keep it secured to my table. It’s well made.

Perfect laptop table for sofa/ bed
This is a great small table for laptop while working sitting on a sofa or bed. It’s not too big, nor too small. Perfect size. Also good for having tea/ coffee in bed. It’s lightweight but very well engineered. I was skeptical about the height adjustment feature when I bought but now I see how useful it is to get laptop screen to the right height.

Really solid option amongst many different mediocre and/or overpriced adjustable lap desks
Purchased this as a disabled person who's forced to be bedbound more often than not - I researched all of the bed desks able to be purchased online that were under fifty dollars (again I'm disabled so I can't exactly spend mega bucks on anything) and fit my needs - those needs being *adjustability*, *stability*, *comfort* and *durability*. The table is the perfect height for my needs, and the whole top being able to tilt is perfect. It's not too difficult to fold and unfold nor adjust, even for someone with strength issues like me. It's not super wobbling and unstable, and doesn't bounce when you're typing (I've had that issue before with one of those metal-folding-lawn-chair type lap desks)The pleather top isn't *the most* grippy, but it's got enough friction to where my laptop doesn't slide off even with a decent tilt on the desk part, and without the removable+adjustable lip. The lip, unique to this laptop desk, is awesome by the way. I also use this to hold my tablet so I can work on art things (drawing, sculpting) while keeping my body in a relaxed position, and it holds both my computer and my tablet perfectly. It's not the fanciest, and I get the sense that you *must* be gentle with this thing - it's plastic after all, I assume that the notches will wear out eventually, but I hope that with proper care and attention it'll last a good long while. I got mine second-hand, and there was a small smudge or two, but it's fully functional, and I wipe all my items off anyway. Closing note - a lot of the bed desks here have the issue of the lip preventing you from having a flashdrive or cord out the side of your computer, or have the lip dig into your wrist. Instability, bulkiness, etc. This desk seems to be the best option to avoid these issues. For the price as well. Keep in mind, the size it perfect for me, it's just small enough to be easy to deal with, and just large enough to hold my tech and fit me beneath it, but ymmv, keep the dimensions in mind. For what it is, this desk's been perfect so far.
