I’m serious when I say it was the easiest bed to put together. The beds are sturdy and comfy. Honestly, better than I expected
My fiancé had his old bed frame for over 8 years, and it finally broke. It was super tall with a box spring and a foam topper. We were a bit nervous about getting a new frame since both our backs are messed up, and he's limited with weight after shoulder surgery. I saw some reviews saying the assembly was tough, which worried me, but we needed a frame quick. It arrived 5 days early, but FedEx left the heavy box at the end of our driveway in the snow, and it was all ripped. We couldn’t even fit it in the car! Anyway, the assembly instructions were pretty clear, and everything was labeled well. I liked that they included extra screws, so I wasn’t stressed about potentially missing any. The diagrams for putting it together helped a lot, too. The only tricky part was the last bars and adding spacers; it takes small hands, and it can be a bit painful. Total setup time was about 2 hours. So far, no squeaking! Our box spring didn’t fit because the headboard is much shorter than our old one, but with pillows, you can't tell. Oh, and the LED lights are a fun touch with their own app! Our backs are a bit sore, but it takes two people to assemble. We could've done it quicker if we had more space and if he wasn’t limited in lifting. Overall, it looks cute and is for a small room or dorm!

This bed took a while to put together but I did it alone and at my own pace. Sturdy frame compared to a different one I bought a year ago. Looks nice for a wood laminate contact paper kind of deal. Lights are awesome and it sound/music interacting, can put an app on your phone which I didn't know and has every color to choose from. Pretty cool bed but stylish. Honestly, better than I expected
My fiancé had the same bed frame for 8+ years. It was a composite board frame. Super tall, box spring and a mattress plus a foam topper. It snapped in half finally so I purchased this bed. Was worried because we both have messed up backs and he’s on a 5lb weight restriction from shoulder surgery. So everyone saying assembly was awful worried me a lot but I needed a frame asap. Came in 5 days early. Fed ex left the (giant and very very heavy) box at the end, in the middle of our driveway, in the snow. Box was ripped. Wouldn’t fit in the car to bring it up. But anywho, instructions were actually pretty clear. Everything is labeled very very nicely. Especially the screws and they tell you there’s extra so no anxiety of missing any. They give you front and side view illustrations of the bars so you know they’re facing the correct way. Only pain was the final bars and putting in the spacers for them. Need tiny fingers and they will hurt after. Only took us 2 hours from opening the box to putting on the mattress. No squeaking so far. Our box spring doesn’t fit on it because the Headboard is 1/4 the height of our old one. So it’s much shorter than we’re use to. With the pillows on you can’t see it at all. That’s okay though. The led lights have an app you can get too, pretty cool. Our backs are killing us but you for sure need 2 people to put it together. We could’ve gotten it done faster if it weren’t for the restrictions and a tiny room. Plus it’s super cute, perfect for a small room or a dorm!

Love this bed! I have purchased a few other similar beds from Hawkins Woodshop over the years, and this one is the sturdiest! It results in a much more comfortable sleep as the metal slats support the mattress well. I put it together myself, with only a little help from my 12 year old daughter to slide the side rails together. If I had attached the footboard to the side rails last, it would have been easier to do by myself. The led lights are perfect and I love that it has a remote so we don't have to get out of bed to turn off the lights. It has 2 outlets and 2 usb plugs, so can accommodate 4 electronic devices (phones, alarm clocks, white noise machines, lamps, etc). The shelf is roughly the width of a cell phone, so only small items can be placed there. It is fairly heavy so doesn't move once in place. Very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend

Pros: We upgraded to this newer, modern, minimalist bed from an older bulky Victorian style bed we got from Ashley Furniture that was cheap as all get out! Our old bed took up tons of real estate in our small master bedroom but this bed is so much better for our room. It's the perfect fit. Makes us feel like we have so much more room in there. I love the led's it comes with. It's a nice deco/mood touch to be able to turn on lights. The bed is sturdy, but creaked some at the begining but has ceased since. We are really pleased with this bed and the price. So worth it! Cons: There's only one draw back to this bed and it's the assembly. It took some time...2/hours by myself and it was pretty tedious. As a middle class husband and father of three I've done my share of assembly furniture and toys and I've gotta say this was probably the most laborious. (Having two people would be a plus!) that said, the labor was worth the sacrifice!!! Especially considering the fact that we may have this bed for another 10 to 20 years! Should you get this bed? Yes, definitely, pull the trigger! You will like it as we do I'm sure.
