The bed is really well made and was simple to put together. My kiddo loves it! Colby was great too—some pieces came broken during shipping, but he quickly sent out replacements. I absolutely love this bed! It's such a fun piece with a cute hangout space, tons of storage, and built-in LED lights. My 8-year-old is thrilled with it. We had a little incident where our cat got anxious and messed up the drawers. I reached out to Hawkins Woodshop to see if I could buy replacements, and they sent me an entire set of new drawers at no cost! Their customer service is thoughtful and dedicated to keeping customers happy. I’d buy from them again and highly recommend their products. This bed is for small spaces since it maximizes room usage. Plus, the cushions on the ladder make it comfy for kids, and it reduces the risk of them bumping their heads or getting hurt since it’s a lower bed. There’s even a button for the LED lights, so if kids lose the remote, they can still control the lights. It also comes with zip ties and stickies to secure the lights in place, so you don’t have to worry about them falling off. They've covered all the bases. It does take some time to put together, but the instructions are clear, and one person can handle it easily. Plus, it’s not too heavy, making it easy to move. It’s got a wall anchor too, but it’s so sturdy that it feels safe without it.

I'm a bit concerned about the crawl space filling up as she grows, but honestly, for the price, it’s a solid choice if you’re after a nice transitional bed for your child. I wanted to create a calm space for her, and this bed definitely delivers. It feels cozy, and those LED lights underneath add to the vibe. We got the full size to have more space underneath, but I think we could've gone with a twin since her room is small. One thing to note is that the ladder only fits on one side, which meant we had to move the bed from our first choice of wall—it was my mistake, though! I love the storage drawers; we put her clothes and toys in there, and there’s a nice shelf for other bits. The pocket along the head or foot of the bed is a cool extra for small stuffies and books.
