The Crown Console

One of our favorite commissioned designs, and the piece we named the shop's signature console after. Hand-cut glass panel windows sit inside solid hardwood door frames, set against a painted case and finished with real crown moulding across the top. It reads like a built-in that was always part of the house rather than a cabinet someone carried in.

Every muntin in those doors is cut and fitted by hand, not stamped from a pattern, which is why the glass panes line up and the shadow lines stay straight. Black iron hardware and exposed corner brackets give the piece weight and keep it from feeling delicate.

A Piece That Works in Almost Any Room

Customers use the Crown Console as a dining room buffet for dishes and linens, a living room media cabinet with the components visible behind glass, an entryway statement piece, or a bar cabinet with stemware on display. Solid doors can replace the glass where you would rather hide the contents.

Built to your length and height, with adjustable interior shelving, optional drawer banks, and finishes from painted two-tone to full stained hardwood. Interior lighting can be wired in for display use.
