No smell and comfortable
I was very pleased to open the mattress up to find no oders of chemicals or any other possibilities. Yaaay! It is definitely firm you feel it has more than enough depth within the six inch base to not bottom out, to say a wood frame. It offers just the right amount of stability. Surprisingly the two inch memory foam on the top offers the right amount of give to be comfy for a rest filled night sleep or a daytime nap 😴 ZzzzI previously had an expensive rediculously too thick mattress with a memory foam attached top that was impossible to get sheets for even the deep pocket sheets would not fit. This is incredibly just as nice and a quarter of the thickness. I definitely recommend 👍 🙂

The media could not be loaded. I ordered 3 8” beds two twin and one king size the beds started to inflate as soon as I unrolled the plastic I did leave it inside the plastic to inflate it may not inflate all the way or correctly if you rip it out the plastic right away. The reviews had me skeptical but my bed inflated perfectly with no problems including all sides super soft and firm as well and great for the price. The chemical smell is common it’s compressed inside plastic so I was expecting that but it goes away just let it air out

Great value if you like a firm mattress
My previous gel foam mattress gave me trouble. I would end up in a sink hole with my hips and knees hurting so I’d be up a lot at night. This mattress is soft yet firm which is perfect for me. I cannot believe how comfortable it is for the price. I have the king and it’s great. It expanded out of the packaging fine. I’ve read reviews about an odor. Mine had a slight odor but after a day or two it was gone. My hips, shoulders and knees like this mattress :-). If you like a firm mattress, this is a great choice.

Quality, medium firm bed.
Such a good mattress, especially for the price. I own two of them. There are no crinks or indentation on both of mine. I like the medium firmness of it. I don't like the traditional coil spring squishy mattress. This mattress provides great back support, which I need due to hurting my back playing basketball.

Firm comfy bed
When I purchased I did read many reviews stating how firm the bed is. We had a very fluffy bed prior to this so maybe that is why this one felt so “hard”. It’s is comfortable once we have gotten used to it but it is definitely on the firmer side. Strong smell when you first open it to expand, but it disappears over the first week or so. We are both hot sleepers and it seems to help keep us on the cooler side.
