I'm a big guy, around 365 lbs, and I got this to swap out my old bed frame and mattress base from Bob's Furniture, which was not sturdy at all. Putting this together took me about 30 minutes on my own, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. It feels incredibly strong and doesn’t move at all. Keep in mind that if you're using a phone mattress, the slats should ideally be no more than 3 inches apart, so you might want to grab some bunkie boards like I did. The under-bed storage is fantastic! I went from squeezing four totes under my old bed to fitting eight easily. Plus, the finish looks great—kind of like a powder coating. It attached securely to my headboard, too. I'm happy with this purchase. Highly recommend it; you won't find anything better for the price.
