I ordered four of these and they arrived well-packed, without any dents. I believe any damage others mentioned likely comes from shipping, not from Hawkins Woodshop. Mine were in perfect condition. They were easy to assemble, and I managed it on my own (I'm a 54-year-old woman), so I'm not sure why some say you need two people. One had a couple of sections that didn’t fit just right, but I was able to bend them a bit with pliers, and it worked out fine. These can hold way more than you’d expect. I think they're a great deal for the price. My sister saw them and is now planning to order several for herself.

Perfect solution for hidden storage
If you're in the market for added storage without the clutter of open shelves, this option is solid. I was a bit skeptical at first since it’s mostly thin sheet metal, but after putting in all the nails and supports, it turned out to be sturdy. We liked it so much that we ended up purchasing two more, which has really helped us tackle our storage issues around the house. It took us about an hour and a half to assemble, though leveling it might take longer depending on luck. Level it before loading it up, as the screws can strip if you push them too hard. My advice is to use your own screwdriver instead of the one that comes with it. Overall, this is a upgrade from Ikea shelving or open storage when you need to tuck away your stuff. They’re stable, hold a lot, and they have a lock feature if you need it. A great product for the price!
