Super simple to put together. You need two people, one to do the work and one to hold a piece while you assemble it. We did away with our box springs to see how it sleeps without them. Not to bad. We slept great! Love the extra storage available under it. We purchased the 18" one. I'm a pretty good size guy, and it seems durable enough for me. It has plenty of slots to attach your headboard. Got lucky two slots lined up with both bolt holes on the headboard. Decent price compared to others available. Fast shipping, was actually early.
