If you know how self-assembly furniture works, putting it together is pretty straightforward. Just a heads up, the bottom shelf has some special screws and bolts that need to lock in place, but the instructions don’t explain it in detail. I’ve assembled shelves like this before, but it would help to have a second person to hold the shelf while you work. I didn't have anyone around, so I used a plastic tub to keep it steady while I added the lock screws. A tip: checking out a YouTube video for those locking screws might be useful since it's a common design and clever! Also, having a flat screwdriver and a crank allen wrench handy is a good idea, as the one you get is a bit tricky to use. Overall, I recommend this beautiful piece!
