These are cute nightstands and pretty decent for what I paid. I got two for either side of the bed, and they really look nice. Just a couple of things to keep in mind: - One of the drawer fronts has a tiny scratch, and the finish is a bit grainy, like it could have used more sanding. The other nightstand was smoother, which is how they both should be. If you’re picky about surface texture or small scratches, check the pieces before you start putting them together and consider swapping it out. - The drawers don’t slide well since it’s just wood against wood. There aren’t any rails or hardware to help with that. - The plastic stopper requires quite a bit of bending to actually keep the drawer from falling out, and even then, it’s a little tilted. If kids or older folks are using this, it might easily get pulled out of line. A simple fix I found: put the leg padding that comes with it on each side of the back bottom of the drawer frame. This makes it slide much better and helps align it with the stopper. I even put some padding on the back of the drawer where it was hitting the wood. After that adjustment, it’s been working well. For the price, I can’t complain, but just know that it's pretty basic.
