Before I got this table, I was storing my vinyl records in a set of zippered storage boxes. There was nothing wrong with them; they were certainly sturdy, but the aesthetic was lacking. This table, on the other hand, is absolutely gorgeous. My 17-year-old daughter put it together in about 2.5 hours using minimal tools and without assistance. The table has two sliding drawers that hold a ton of records, each with two sections for easy organization. I love how this length is as an end table for my couch.
