Some people do not work in one place. They start at the kitchen counter, move to the window when the light is good, and finish standing next to the couch. This cart is built for that pattern, and the four casters are the whole point. Roll it where you want it, lock all four, and it stops being a cart and starts being a desk.
The tabletop measures 28.3 by 19 inches and is laminated, 0.7 inches thick. Height adjusts manually from 27.95 inches up to 44.09 inches, which covers seated work at a normal chair height through standing work for most adults. A gas spring does the lifting, so changing position is a quick adjustment rather than a two-handed job. The base sits 4.3 inches tall.
The top carries a cup holder and dedicated slots for supplies, plus a hook on the side for a headset or a bag. That sounds like a small thing until you have worked on a rolling cart without them and watched a mug travel every time you moved. Keeping the drink off the work surface and the bag off the floor is most of what makes a mobile desk usable.
Construction is cold rolled steel with a rust-resistant coating, and the desk supports up to 22 pounds. That is a laptop, a tablet, and your everyday items. It is not a home for a heavy monitor setup, so check the weight of your gear against that number before ordering.
The finish is black, which disappears against most furniture rather than announcing itself in a living room. It comes with all necessary hardware and instructions for assembly. Put it together, set your height, and you can leave it in a corner between uses without it taking over the room.
