Best purchase ever!
I'm really impressed with this bed! It's heavy and once we got it assembled, it felt sturdy. The whole thing is made of solid wood. It took my husband and me about two hours to put it together. Just a heads up, take your time and keep track of all the screws since there aren’t any extras. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and I appreciated how each step was illustrated. Once it's built, it’s stable and strong. My 4-year-old son loves his big boy bed—it looks adorable in his room, and it's comfortable for him. I also like the safety bars on the sides with the little tray for his tablet.

Love the bed, but a few quirks
I really like this bed, but there are a couple of things worth mentioning. First off, it would be great if the product page included the fort dimensions for the bookshelf option by the ladder—it’s actually 33" wide, 72" long, and 26" high, which makes for a secret fort! After using it for a couple of weeks, I wish they'd gone with a VOC-free paint for safety; it wouldn’t have cost much more. Also, the back panels on the bookcases are pretty flimsy and warped, so I had a bit of a challenge getting them straightened out when putting everything together. The color is off from the bed as well, which is more of an annoyance for me than a big deal since it’s for a kid's room. One thing that should be added to the product details is the fort dimensions, so customers aren’t left guessing like I was. By the way, I’m 5’9” and can easily fit into the fort along with my 5-year-old, so that’s a relief! Now, as for assembly, it took me a long time—about 2-3 hours a night over three nights—partly because I’m not experienced with furniture assembly. If possible, I’d recommend using an impact driver; while it’s nice they include a screwdriver, you’ll want something stronger to avoid sore hands. Lastly, keep hardware organized as packaged; don’t try to sort it into your own containers or you’ll complicate things. Overall, I’m pleased with the bed!

Great low loft bed!
This bed is really solid and looks just like the pictures. My child is happy with it. A pro put it together in about 2.5 hours. I like the bed, but there is a strong odor that took some time to fade.

Sturdy build and easy assembly directions! Grandson is thrilled!
I got this for my 10-year-old grandson who turned his closet into his own “man cave” 😂. He spends tons of time in there! I was worried it might feel too young for him, but I took a chance since other loft beds were taller and I didn't want him bumping his head on the fan. Boys will be boys, right? The space underneath is a bit low, so he can't sit up straight, but he can sit cross-legged and loves to lay down with a book. He's almost 5 feet tall. The assembly instructions were really good! The box is heavy though, so you need two people to put it together—one to hold pieces while the other screws things in. If you're not doing that, laying out the pieces for the next steps helps. I also used a bowl to keep the screws in since there weren't any extra. The bed turned out great! One side is open, which we liked because it gives him access to a plug for his light and fan. We might end up using this bed longer than we planned since we can just turn it around for storage later on, like for a college dorm. Just a thought!

Great bed for forts!
I’m really happy with this bed! We needed something for my 12-year-old daughter to use as a permanent fort, and this is. The living room forts were getting old, and this gives her a great space to play. She’s about 5 feet tall and 85 pounds, so getting in and out is a breeze for her. The ceiling is a bit low for her to sit up, but there’s still enough room for her to crawl around and hang out with her pillows, books, or electronics. The bed is pretty sturdy and can hold a good amount of weight. My daughter and I (her mom) put it together without any trouble—took us around 4 hours split over a couple of days. The instructions were clearer than most I’ve seen, and everything was labeled, which made it easy. Just need a drill with a Phillips head bit and a screwdriver to tighten the screws, so keep that in mind. The wood has a nice matte finish, and while there are a few rough spots, they seem to be on purpose for style. I love that you can position the bookshelf and drawer on either side; we put it on the right to fit her room better. We didn’t install the drawer since it takes up a lot of space inside the fort, so we just glued the front on for a faux look. The bed isn’t too tall, so it fits well without making the room feel cramped. No need for a box spring either—just the mattress works great and keeps her safe from rolling out. I can’t think of anything negative to say. It’s sturdy once put together, and it checks all the boxes for us. Hope this helps someone out there!

Great Space-Saving Bed for Kids
I recently got this bed for my kids and I'm really happy with it! The solid wood construction makes it feel sturdy and safe. The stairs have built-in drawers, which is for storing clothes and toys, keeping things organized. Plus, the compact design is for smaller rooms and leaves space underneath for a little study area or play zone. It fits in nicely with our decor, too! Just a heads up, the assembly takes some time and might be easier with two people. A few tips: make sure to tighten all the screws for stability and check the ceiling height to ensure your child can sit up comfortably on the top bunk. Overall, this bed is a stylish and practical option to maximize space in a kid’s bedroom.

Solid build, perfect for my toddler.
Putting this together was pretty straightforward. Just make sure to follow the instructions closely, especially the part where it says to "only tighten to 80%" before moving on. Once it was set up, it's fantastic for my child. I'm also able to join in on the fun, even at 255 lbs!

Awesome Bed for Kids
Our son is thrilled with his new bed. It’s not too tall, and the space underneath is perfect for his little hangout. He sees it as his own secret fort, which he adores! The shelves are a great addition too. The wood and hardware feel solid. It’s a bit pricey, but honestly, it’s a nice and cool piece!

Watch out during assembly
A couple of the pieces felt a bit flimsy while I was putting it together and ended up splitting when I was attaching them. But my son really loves it! Just a heads up, two small parts were missing.

Great bed!
Super sturdy and fairly easy to assemble. Happy with the price I paid. I’m giving it 4 stars because one of the bed rail pieces was a bit crushed. Almost!

Great loft bed for the price!
We were pleasantly surprised by this bed considering how affordable it was and that it came in one big, heavy box. We chose the gray one to match some gray furniture we already had, and it went together pretty well, even though it was a touch darker than our other pieces. It sits at a height similar to a dorm bed, making it just right for our child's small room. Even though the box was a bit banged up, everything inside was in perfect condition and all the screws and bolts were included. The hardest part of putting it together was just making sure we had the right hardware. The instructions were clear, showing which pieces to use at each step along with visuals to skip the extras, which made it easier to understand. It took my spouse and me about 4 hours to set it up together. This is a solid wood bed. It's well made, with a metal rod for support and wooden slats that you screw in. The headboard and footboard connect with metal plates and have wooden dowels, bolts, and screws for extra sturdiness. I liked that we could choose which way to set it up, and they even included hardware to cover any unused holes, so everything looked neat. Our 7-year-old fits perfectly under the loft bed in the play area. The space isn't huge, but it’s great for reading or storing toys. The height works well for me at 5’4 and my spouse at 6’1, making it easy to tuck our child in without having to bend too much. Plus, it’s low enough that our child can get in and out easily. It holds his mattress just fine, whether it's hybrid or foam. Overall, we’re happy with our purchase!

Great bed
Update. The most annoying thing about this product page is that it doesn't tell you what the dimensions are of the fort under the bed if you choose the book shelf option on either side of the center ladder. I just went to measure it. It's 33" wide by 72" long by 26" high. Aka plenty of space to be a secret fort. The only things I wish for this bed after assembling it and having it for a couple of weeks:A. For the price, the company could've easily used a voc free paint to keep our kids safer. Valspar has a voc free line at Lowes or Home Depot at budget prices. B. Again for the price, the back paneling for the bookcases annoy me. They are very thin and warped so I had to hold them with my feet to try to straighten them out as I drilled the parts together with an impact driver. Not only that, but the shade of color is completely different than the rest of the bed. Okay not a huge deal for a kid's room but still annoying. C. I wish that the manufacturer would put the underside fort dimensions on their product photo. It's very inconvenient to have to search through customer reviews to try to find out how big it is inside of there and then have to just order it hoping your kid can move around there easily. By the way, I'm happy to report that I (5'9") can crawl in and lay down in there easily and so can my 45" 5 year old. It took me forrrrrever to assemble this. Probably 2-3 hrs per night over 3 nights with a lot of 5 year old and household task interruptions. Now, keep in mind that I didn't have much experience with assembling furniture before this so this is probably why. I highly recommend not assembling this yourself without an impact driver. It's nice that the bed came with a screw driver but if you don't have callouses already on your hands and fingers, you will get a lot of blisters with just a screw driver in addition to the allen wrenches. Plus also, and this is really important, don't try to reinvent the wheel (wherever that strange phrase came from) with organizing the hardware into your own ziplock bags or containers. Leave the hardware where it is with the matching labels or you'll make this so much harder. You're welcome.

Sturdy, real wood lofted bed
While we were not expecting much from this bed considering its low price and the fact it arrived in one (very heavy) long thin box, my spouse and I were exceedingly impressed by it. We purchased the gray one to coordinate with his gray washed furniture we already had in the room. This bed was slightly darker than those pieces (Baby Caché Vienna line in Ash Grey) but still in the same color family and coordinated well. The height is similar to that of a dorm room bed set to its highest standard height without a loft kit. Its minimalist design and smaller footprint is why we close this particular style bed for our child’s small room. Despite the box being damaged upon arrival, all pieces were perfectly intact and all hardware was included. The most difficult part about assembly is to ensure you are using the correct hardware. Instructions show a breakdown of each screw and bolt included and at each step, they show you which ones you need and also show visual examples of ones you don’t need with big Xs on them so you can understand size comparison. As long as you pay close attention to these, then assembly will go smoothly. All in all, the bed took the two of us approximately 4 hours to put together. This truly is a real wood bed. It is well designed and even has a middle metal rod support and wooden mattress support slats that get screwed into place. The headboard and footboard use metal plates to connect each panel and is held together by wooden dowel joints, bolts and screws. The instructions have options for you to decide whether you want the bed oriented with the footboard doorway on the right or on the left. Because of this two-option assembly, the headboard and footboard have a few extra holes and we were happy to see that the kit includes hardware to fill the holes of whichever side you do not ultimately build so the entire construction looks uniform and finished. Our child is 7 and easily fits underneath the loft bed in the play area below. It’s not a large play space but would be a great spot for reading or a storage space for larger toys (in our case Hot Wheels loops and garages will most likely go under there for storage). The height is the perfect height for my 5’4 and spouse’s 6’1 frames to tuck our child in at night without needing to lean over or climb. We also appreciate it’s not too high for him to get in or out of on his own. It seems to support his weight no problem and the slats and metal rod support works well to hold his 8” hybrid mattress but would also be fine to hold an all foam one if needed. All in all we are very happy with our purchase.
