I used to struggle with a tiny step-on garbage can under my kitchen sink, and it drove me nuts. I couldn't find a good replacement that fit the space, so I settled for what I had. I wanted something that wouldn’t require a foot pedal and looked nice alongside our brushed steel appliances. While this isn’t brushed steel and could be a tad smaller, it’s still a fantastic product—one of my best buys! The black plastic rim holds the bag securely and is easy to clean. Once the bag is changed, I don't need to touch it at all. I’ve had no issues with it opening up when I walk by, and it makes a quiet little noise when it opens and closes. It works perfectly! No batteries come with it, but I think that’s pretty standard. They even included some white garbage bags to get started.
