Great table but had a delivery issue
This table is a steal for the price! It's built really well, way better than tables that cost a lot more. All the parts are solid wood, and I love how the legs attach with bolts instead of screws. The finish is spot on, and the butterfly leaf is handy. I have a couple of tips and one bigger issue. For the tips: first, you should use a small ratchet or a box wrench to attach the legs. The small Allen wrench that comes with it just makes it a slow process, and you won't get the bolts as tight as they need to be. Second, a few of the bolts were messed up at the ends and didn't screw in right. You can fix them easily if you have a file or wheel, but otherwise, you might need to buy new bolts. Now for my big issue: the table showed up with a damaged corner, which I think happened during delivery. It seems like the delivery folks need to be more careful with these heavy boxes. If you can, try to be around when it gets delivered to check the box before it’s opened—just in case.

I'm no furniture expert, but this table looks great to me. It's made of solid wood, feels heavy, and there's no fake stuff on it. I was impressed by how well it was packed; it arrived in perfect shape with no dings or scratches, thanks to the thick foam they used. Putting it together was a breeze. You just attach the legs with a couple of bolts that you can tighten mostly by hand. The last little bit is easy with the included Allen wrench. I did it all by myself without any issues, even though I usually find furniture assembly a pain. The toughest part was actually getting the box out to the trash! Now, about that butterfly fold-out feature—before I bought it, I was confused about how that worked. Basically, there's a middle section built in that you can pull out when you need more space. You just fold it down and lock it in place. It's handy that it's part of the table and not something I have to store separately. Just a tip: when you first open the box, the table top will be facing down. Don't try to pull that middle section free; it's meant to stay attached. Follow the instructions to put the legs on first. Once it's set up, you can take off the foam and play with the butterfly part. As for size, even without the extension, it fits four people, though it's a bit snug for a feast. But for a regular family meal or just a casual dinner, it works well. It's also comfy for one or two and doesn't take up too much space. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase! It looks in my dining area, and I feel like I got a solid deal.
