Awesome table for the price, but it arrived damaged
This table is an incredible find for what I paid! It feels just as sturdy as tables that are five times the cost. Every piece is solid wood, and I love how the legs attach with 1/4" bolts going into metal sleeves rather than just screws into wood. The finish is flawless, and the butterfly leaf works great, adding more functionality to the table. That said, I've got a couple of tips and one big issue. Tip 1: Use a small ratchet with an allen head or star fitting for attaching the legs. If you don’t have one, you can grab some regular bolts and a box wrench from the hardware store. The table comes with 1/4" allen bolts and a tiny wrench, but using that little wrench is a pain, and it took forever to get all 8 bolts tightened. Tip 2: A few bolts had damaged threads at the ends, which is a manufacturing flaw and made it hard to screw them into the legs properly. If you don’t have a hand file or a grinder to fix them, you'll need to buy new bolts. Now, the major downside is that the top of the table arrived with a dented corner. It looks like it was dropped during shipping, which I suspect was UPS's fault. This is the second table from them that has arrived damaged this week. Each one weighs 70 lbs, but it seems the drivers handle them alone without using hand trucks, which isn’t ideal. I recommend being there for the delivery, to see how they handle the box, and check for any damage to the corners before opening it, just in case.

I'm not a furniture expert, but this table looks really good to me. It's solid wood, heavy, and no cheap laminates here. Getting it delivered must've been tough, but it arrived in condition—no scratches or dents, and it was packed well with thick foam to protect it. Putting it together was a breeze. Just attach the four legs with some bolts, and you can do most of it by hand. The last bit takes a quick twist with the included Allen wrench. I did it alone, which is nice since some furniture requires a second person, but this one’s easy. Honestly, the hardest part was getting the box out to the trash! It took me about an hour, but that was mostly just unpacking everything. As for the "butterfly fold out," I was curious about that, and it’s actually a great feature. The extra piece to make the table wider is built right in. You just pull the table apart, unfold the middle section, and fit it together—all done. It's cool that you don’t have to store any extra pieces. Just a heads up: when you first open the box, the middle part is covered and it might seem like you should take it out, but it’s meant to stay attached. Follow the instructions, attach the legs, and then you can mess with the fold-out section once it’s upright. The size is good too. It can fit four people, but it’s cozy—for dinner. Without the extension, it's just right for one or two people, and it doesn’t take up too much room. I’m happy with the table and feel like I got a great deal for it.

Pretty good table!
I've had this table for some time now and I'd say it's a solid choice. It looks nice, feels sturdy, and seems like it will last. Sure, it shows some wear, but it’s not meant to be a fancy piece of furniture from a high-end store. It works well, and I appreciate that!

Great table
I really like this table! The size and shape are just right for my little kitchen, and the butterfly leaf is handy for when I have friends over. It expands nicely without taking up too much space. It did have a bit of a chemical smell at first, probably from the paint, but after cleaning it a few times, that went away. Plus, it's lightweight, so it's easy to move around. I would suggest adding some rubber feet to keep it from sliding around.

Really well made piece of furniture... Great deal
I don't know furniture but to my eyes, this looks amazing. It's solid wood, no evidence of laminates or anything like that and it's heavy wood... That box must've been murder to deliver to my doorstep. And it was packed really really well so my personal experience is that it was delivered in flawless condition with no dings or scrapes at all and all corners were reinforced with thick styrofoam blocks. Assembly:- you just need to attach the four legs with two threaded bolts that you can spin in 90% of the way in with just your fingers. The last bit of tensioning can be done with the included alan wrench.- easily one man/woman job. I'm always wary of furniture assembly because sometimes, it's designed to be put together with help and doing it solo is murder but this is easy. Hardest part is taking the box out to the trash actually....- i took about an hour but that's including unpacking everything from it's well taped up protective foam and then ditching the box."butterfly fold out":before purchase i really wondered what the hell that was... Basically, the middle section that allows you to extend the table to be wider is built into the table and attached by an axle... After you pull the table top apart to reveal the extra space, you grab and unfold it and it smoothly unfolds into the space. Then you push the ends which have pegs and fit it all together and lock it with the snap locks underneath and you're done. Really love the fact that the center piece is built into the table and not something that i have to remove and store somewhere else. Note - if you open the box correctly you will see the bottom of the table with the table top facing the bottom of the box on the floor. You will see this butterfly fold out section in the middle covered with foam and your immediate instinct will be to try to pull it free. You can try to do that for a few minutes but as i mentioned it is securely attached to an axle. This is not made to be removed. So ignore it. Ignore the foam covering it. Read the instructions and attach the legs. You will be able to remove the foam and fiddle with the butterfly middle section after the table is assembled and upright and the two ends pulled apart to reveal the space. Instructions:in the ikea style that i'm familiar with. Mostly diagrams. But it's so simple that it few pages are all you need and just looking over it for a minute will tell you everything you need to know. Size:even without the middle extension, it can seat 4 people imo. It won't be spacious and you can't have a lot of dishes in the middle... So not ideal for something like thanksgiving dinner. But for 4 people with a plate and cup, it'll work just fine. But without the extension, it's also really nice for just one or two people too... Then it's nice and spacious without taking up too much floor space. These are just a little bit wider and more rectangular than the square tables at my starbucks. For my purposes, it's more than perfect. Anyway, really pleased with the table! I feel like a got a great deal and it looks great in the dining area.

Lovely table
Love this table. Love the size, the shape, and the butterfly leaf. It's the perfect size for my small kitchen, and perfect expanded for guests wothout being too big. It did have a slight chemical smell at first, but I guess it was the paint. After scrubbing it down, it eventually disappeared. It is light and easy to move. Would recommend some rubber feet, so it won't slide around.
