Great nightstand for my needs!
I really love this nightstand! As a writer and reader, I needed something to hold my laptop and books without stuffing them in drawers. It barely fits my 15-inch laptop, but it looks great! I plan to swap out the plain silver knobs since they’re not my style. I even used a Harry Potter book to check if my other books would fit, and there's enough space for more—for a small bookshelf too! The drawers are nice, although they don’t have a back or frame, which I wasn’t sure about when I bought it. But it actually looks good when everything is put together. They don’t close silently, but they make a soft thud on carpet. I did find they echo a bit on tile. My mom suggested using wood glue in places, and I did use it on the shelf bottoms and some other parts—works fine! Overall, I’m happy with this purchase, and it fits my needs perfectly! It’s sturdy, and the assembly was easy with my tools. Just a heads-up, the instructions had a small mistake where it said G instead of F on one page. Oh, and my cat has already claimed it for herself, so we’ll see how that goes with my laptop! 😄 I might cut a hole in the back for cords later, but I’m hesitant since it’s so pretty. One minor issue is the surface scratched a bit from my phone’s pop socket, but that’s easy to fix by laying it flat. It’s a tiny problem, so I’m sticking with my 5-star rating!
