Just gorgeous!
This is such a beautiful upgrade! The board is lovely and has a great color that goes perfectly with my oak cabinets. I’ve really wanted a cover for my cooktop; it was in decent shape, but I wanted the extra space and to keep it protected. I’ll be careful with this board because it’s stunning. The only downside is that the box was damaged during shipping, and there’s a small dent on one edge of the board. I can position it so it’s not visible to others, but I’ll know it’s there. There was no weird smell when I unpacked it, and putting on the handles was easy. Even with appliances or countertops next to my stove, it fits perfectly without touching the burners. I didn't get any care instructions, so I plan to reach out to Hawkins Woodshop before oiling it. The wood feels thick, and the whole thing seems quite sturdy. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase!

Great solution if you need extra counter space and don't use your stove top too often. Fit perfectly on top of my gas stove top. Sat on top of the grates but worked out fine. The price was a little high so I was originally wasn't sure about buying it but then it said that there was a "used" one (i. E. One that somebody had returned) available for a cheaper price so I grabbed it. There were a couple marks on mine and a ding in the wood in one spot, which is probably why the previous person returned it, but I'm sure I'll probably add more dings and marks to it in time anyway so I appreciated saving a few bucks over paying more and having it perfect. It's nice that it's reversable and comes with the handles which can be installed either way or left off altogether if desired. It also came with instructions and 4 thin rubber feet.

What a beautiful upgrade! This is a lovely board, with a beautiful color! It matches my oak cabinets beautifully. I’ve been wanting to get a cover for the cooktop. It is not that bad of shape, but I still wanted the extra space and didn’t want to worry about the stove top. Now I’m going to be very careful with this board! It’s absolutely beautiful. The only issue I have is that in transit, the box got damaged and there’s a small dent on one side of the board. I can position it so it is not noticeable to anyone else, but I will know it is there. There was no smell or odor out of the box. Attaching the handles was simple and quick. And even if I had an appliance or countertop on both sides of my stove, it would still fit. It even is set up so that none of the board touches my burners. It did not send car instructions, so I will contact the manufacturer before I oil it. The wood is very thick and the overall construction feels sturdy. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied so far.

I think I was given one that wasn't completely verified as finished. I say this as when I opened the box and went to attach the provided handles, the side rail was detached from the main board on one side about a third of the length. It's like the glue wasn't applied to the whole side rail. This allowed for a slightly warp to the main board, even after securing the handles. Instead of sending it back, I was able to solve the issue by applying a screw to the underside of the main board to the side rail. I was also able to cover the new screw with the provided skid pads. Otherwise this is a great fit and seems nice and strong and able to easily be use for what it is. Looks wonderful and functions great. Forgot to take a picture of the issue, but it is resolved.

I purchased this for my gas stove (Samsung Flex Duo), which might not be recommended, but I needed something to cover it to regain extra counter space (my kitchen is super small.) I am super happy with how this board looks and fits perfectly. It is sturdy and cleans up easily. My only caution is that the paint scratched on the bottom when I slid it across the burner grates. I knew it would happen, and I was trying not to, but it did. I might put something on the bottom to protect it in the future. Overall I love the extra counter space this creates and how it keeps my stovetop clean.
