Finally found the right chair height!
I’ve hit the jackpot! This is the fourth chair I’ve tried in a few months, plus two replacement gas lifts, just to find one that sits at the right height for me. I'm 5' 7" and need it to be 16-1/2" off the ground since I type about 50 hours a week. I've had other chairs that were higher but still comfy, but I've really struggled with this issue for a long time. This chair came in today, and it was a breeze to put together. It’s just what I needed—at its lowest, it’s exactly 16-1/2", and the tilt feature works well once you adjust the knob. I’m happy with this chair; it feels comfortable, although I’ll need to use it for a bit to see how it holds up during long hours. None of those cheaper options had decent lumbar support, and I’ve always just used a towel with bungee cords, which isn’t a problem for me. The most important thing is the chair height, and this is spot on! After reading so many reviews, I realize I’m not alone in needing a lower chair. Since this one fits my needs perfectly, I might buy a couple more soon to have on hand for my next 15 years of work. So grateful!

This chair is a great value for the money. Took me 30 minutes to unpack and assemble (I'm a 71 yo woman). All the holes aligned, and the T-allen wrench made fast work of tightening screws. If you make sure not to tighten the screws as you put on both arms, you can easily get both attached and then tighten all the screws. I did the assembly without a second person's help. The chair is almost a bright pure white, but it's just a touch creamy. I have a white and black decor, and the chair blends great with my stark white walls and other white furniture. But it also blends nicely with the rug beneath, which is tans, gray, brown, and a creamy light tan. Looks great! Now, as for comfort, I give it a nine out of ten. It'll sit you up straight for desk work, but if you loosen the tilt knob underneath the seat, it rocks, which is comfortable for streaming time. The seat lifts to an excellent typing height (I'm 5' 3.5"), and it lowers a good three inches, so that with the rocking tilt and low seat, it's great for long sessions of streaming or movie watching. As for the seat dimensions, it's not really 20" across; I measured it at 19.25" wide and 19" in depth. The seatback comes up to just above the top of my shoulders and feels very supportive--possibly too straight for some, but I like the solidly upright position. I sit for hours at my desk every day, reading and streaming, and my back is appreciating this chair's support. It's a nice-looking, supportive, well-made, and comfortable chair.
