Great Office Chair with Solid Support
I've been using this chair for a few weeks now and I really like it. Comfortable enough for lounging as well as working at my desk. The tilt control is nice because you can loosen it up for a bit of a rocking motion. The instructions were clear, and the pieces fit well, making it a breeze to put together. I’m not the handiest person, but I had no trouble getting it set up right the first time. I did have a little issue with the bolt cover on the right arm coming loose. I reached out to Hawkins Woodshop, and they got back to me fast and asked for some photos. They helped me figure out that the cover was actually causing the bolt to loosen. I just left the cover off and everything's been great since! If anyone else runs into this, that's the fix. Happy with the chair overall!

Perfect for shorter folks!
When I first got this chair, I wasn't sure about it since it felt different than my old desk chair. But after some time, I've really come to love it. I'm on the shorter side at 5'3", and it fits me just right. If you're taller, though, I can see how it might not be ideal since your shoulders might sit above the back support. The reasons I picked this chair were its look and material. I’m so happy with both! I initially wanted the ivory color but was worried it might get stained, so I chose the brown with white, which still looks lovely and suits my rustic style perfectly. My previous chair was all plastic and hard to keep clean, but this has a solid seat that I can easily wipe down, and I can rest my legs comfortably without leaving impressions on my skin. I know that’s a bit of a basic requirement, but it meets my needs well, and I believe it’s worth the price for most people. The material feels quality, and it’s stitched together nicely—the visible stitching adds a nice touch. While the back isn’t ergonomic, I don’t mind that too much, and you can easily add a cushion if you need extra support. The seat is comfortable, too; I can sit for hours without feeling lumps or anything. Assembly was straightforward and took me about half an hour. The height and tilt adjustments work great for me. Overall, I highly recommend this chair for anyone who's average height or shorter!

The back basically gave out, so I find myself leaning way back instead of sitting up straight. I do nails for a living, so it’s tough to balance just right to use it. The cushion is gone, and both the armrests and seat are hard as a rock! It didn’t take long for it to wear down like this. I wish I had returned it when I had the chance. I thought it looked nice in beige, but even that color faded quickly. Now it looks terrible. Save your money—this chair isn’t worth it.

Great Office Chair - Easy to Assemble and Comfortable

I really like this chair. It's sturdy, comfortable, and easy to put together. I even managed to assemble it during halftime of a football game! I've been using it for three days now and it feels great. It’s adjustable, too, which is nice. 12/02/23 Update: I had an issue with the control plate underneath—it had a broken weld. I reached out to Hawkins Woodshop and they quickly sent me a replacement plate and shock after I sent them some pictures. They were easy to work with and cared about fixing the problem. I'm impressed with their service and plan to get my chairs from them in the future. I’ll be telling my friends about how great Hawkins Woodshop is. What a nice surprise!

Turned out to be horrible (updated review)
Updated review. My first review i was quite happy with it for the first month or so. It was comfortable etc. However now that ive had it much longer I have alot to say. First off, dont waste your money this chair is cheaply made and very low quality. The chair basically broke so when youre trying to sit up straight you lean 120° backwards in it. So in order to use this chair I have to balance my weight just perfectly to sit in it. I do nails so its extremely hard to keep that up. But its not just that, there is no cushion left to this chair. The armrest are hard as a board and the seat is the same way! It didnt take long to get like that either. I really wish I would havd returned this when I had the chance. I liked the looks and I loved that it was beige. And thats the last thing that didn't stay was the beige color. It turned dark as it wore in. It looks horrible now. Please dont waste your money, this chair isnt going to last you.
