Great light, works as intended
I recently got the Neon Rope Lights, and they've really changed up my home decor. Here’s what I found: Setting them up was a piece of cake. They arrived well-packaged with easy instructions, and I had no trouble cutting them to fit my space. The app took a little time to figure out, but once I did, it was pretty easy to use. It helps with control. One odd thing was that the two 50ft lights came in different boxes, each with a separate remote. At first, I thought it was going to be annoying, but since I mostly use the app, it turned out fine. I thought the lights would connect easily for everyone in the house, but that didn't happen, which was a bummer. Still, using the app worked for me, so it was alright. A cool feature is the scheduling. I have the lights set to turn on and off automatically, and that works perfectly. I just wish there was a way to set up a second schedule for weekends. I really like these string lights! They're long enough to wrap around my basement for some nice perimeter lighting. The brightness is just right for a home theater setting, but I wouldn't use them for direct lighting in a living space since they aren't bright. The color options are nice, and I love the fade settings. Just a heads up: they come in two reels, and the power adapter has to be placed in the middle to connect both reels since it has two outputs. The strip is flexible and easy to position where you need it. I’ve just laid them out for now, but I plan to tuck them under the trim for a cleaner look. Overall, a great deal!
