Clean and Simple Look
These worked out perfectly for what I needed. I really appreciate the clean style and straightforward design. Just a heads-up, the picture makes them look a bit brighter than they actually are. A couple of things to keep in mind: - There’s a 3/16" steel cable running between the trees, and the bulbs hang from this cable, so they don't just depend on hanging from the ends. Might work, but for a long-term setup, it's better this way. - The lights aren't bright; they're more for creating a nice atmosphere. You can chat comfortably around the fire pit, but forget about reading or detailed work. - Each bulb is separate, which I like since I can replace them individually if needed. Just beware that running a bunch of incandescent lights might blow the fuse. - I’ve got mine hooked up to a smart plug for ease of use. These lights are straightforward: plug them in and they’re on, unplug them and they’re off. Just make sure you have something to control the power source.

Lights didn’t last long
I got these lights a few months back, and they worked fine at first. Unfortunately, they started to dim one by one and now several have burnt out. We only use them at night, so I thought they’d last longer. The first bulb went out pretty quickly, and now more than half are either dim or not working at all. Edit: I have to say, Hawkins Woodshop has been great to deal with. Their customer service is top-notch. After I left this review, Colby reached out and offered to refund me. I’ll use that to buy new bulbs. I really do love everything else about the string lights. Thanks!
