Just what I needed!
I've had my futon for over 31 years, and while the mattress is still holding up well, the frame was definitely getting old. When my oldest son decided to buy a townhouse, I told him I’d get him a new frame if he wanted to take the futon. This Kodiak frame was just what I was looking for. It looks sleek in a rich espresso brown and was reasonably priced. My youngest son put it together in about 30 to 45 minutes, and he said the instructions were easy to understand. I like the feature of being able to pull up the arms for table trays – such a nice touch! Once it was set up, the frame seemed solid and well made. Now, the futon looks brand new, which is for my son's bachelor pad. He can use it as a couch in his man-cave, and it easily converts to a bed for guests. I highly recommend this frame!

Espresso linen stone full size frame review
I received this frame four days earlier than I thought I would. The frame came, but the mattress was missing at first. I contacted Colby, and he got back to me quickly, which I appreciated. The mattress arrived the next day. The delivery guy from FedEx seemed a bit rushed but was nice enough to put it inside my door. Just a heads up, my name wasn’t on the mattress package, only a scan code, so that might've been confusing. Everything arrived in good condition, and it was packed well. If you're used to putting furniture together, the instructions are pretty straightforward. If you're not, it might be a little tricky. They suggest having two people and using a blanket on the floor, which I found helpful with my wood floors. I’m 60, and I managed to assemble it myself in under an hour. I did need a friend to help lift the couch onto the frame since that was a bit awkward. The frame feels sturdy and is heavier than my old sofa, so I expect it won't slide around like the last one. The mattress is firm but comfy once it settles. I initially felt the springs when I unpacked it, but that went away pretty quickly. The color is nice—it's not as beige as it seems in the pictures, more like a light beige and charcoal weave. The espresso finish is a bit darker than I expected but looks great when the sun hits it. I got the full size frame, and at 5’ tall, it works perfectly for me. If you're taller than 6' though, it may feel short. Overall, I would definitely recommend this!

Great futon frame.
This frame is solid for my futon mattress. You can put it together by yourself if you're strong, but getting a second person to help with the last part makes it easier. I switched it from seating to bed mode without any issues, and it fits perfectly in my home office/guest room.

THIS ISN'T SMALL! IT'S STURDY!
I was a bit worried I'd end up with something tiny after ordering, but I didn’t need to be concerned! This thing is fantastic! It’s spacious and the wood looks nice with a smooth finish. It adds a good touch to my space. The only minor issue was with the assembly instructions—they were a bit confusing and had some typos. However, if you're somewhat handy, it shouldn't pose a big problem, so I won't take off any stars for that. Just make sure you grab a decent futon mattress to go with it!
