Great futon, tricky to switch back to couch
I found this futon pretty easy to put together by following the Kodiak assembly video online. You can do most of it alone, but you’ll need a buddy for the final assembly. The parts feel sturdy, and the mattress is really well made and heavy. It switches to a bed easily, but my only issue is getting it back to a couch. It’s tough because of the heavy mattress, so having two people helps. I had to improvise a bit since I often work alone—I tied a rope to the back of the frame, and when I need to convert it back, I pull the rope to lift the back of the futon. It’s not the best solution, but it gets the job done. I included a picture of the rope set up for reference.
