If you’re used to a regular bed, switching to a Japanese floor mattress might take some adjusting. But that said, this mattress is solid for what you pay. It’s sturdy and thick for a floor mattress, comparable to others I’ve used while traveling in Asia. I also really like the design and color. There were no unpleasant odors when it arrived, and it's held up great. I can fold it and toss it in the trunk for travel, or use it for guests. I always get up feeling refreshed after sleeping on it. I like it so much that I’m considering picking up another one.

This thing is pretty awesome. It’s not soft since it’s a bit thin, but my boyfriend likes it. I’m used to sleeping on a thick ~10 inch memory foam mattress, so it’s a different feel for me, but it’s still comfy enough.
