We have the grey velvet platform bed in our rental, and it looks fantastic. It’s sturdy and made from solid materials. Just keep in mind that it takes a bit of time to put together since there are a lot of fasteners involved, but I found the assembly to be easy. Everything fit together smoothly, and the holes for the fasteners lined up perfectly. The velvet has a short pile, so it feels soft and looks great without worrying about dust sticking to it. I love the extra clearance underneath for storage boxes, and it’s a good height, making it easy to get in and out of bed. Plus, you don’t need a box spring, which is a big plus when you're setting up. Overall, happy with the quality and the price!

For someone who struggles with instructions like me, it took a bit longer than I expected – around 2 hours with some redoing. Be sure to check which side of the rods goes where, and don’t screw everything too tightly until you’re done, or you’ll have a tough time fixing any mistakes. The frame feels sturdy and the velvet is nice quality, even though the slats are pressed wood—it seems solid enough. Thankfully, no bed bugs, so that was a relief! The pieces arrived well-packaged in a single box; it was a bit heavy but manageable. An allen wrench was included, which worked fine, but I think a proper screwdriver would speed things up. They even provided a couple of extra screws, which was a nice touch. Overall, I’m pleased with this purchase and would recommend it. 9.5/10!
