I'm 300lbs, my husband is 240, we have three kids, and we mess around with it quite a bit. It held up well overall. The only thing I noticed was that the bottom of the mattress does slip through the slats a little bit.

I'm not mechanically inclined but this bed was a breeze to assemble. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. None of the parts were missing and tools were included for assembly. Once assembled, it was very solid and very strong. The headboard looks very contemporary and when mounted to the bottom frame, doesn't move/wobble. The dimensions exactly matched what was shown online. The addition of the led lights adds a touch of "cool" to the headboard. I recommend this frame for ease of assemble and being well built.
