I love this bed. I bought this bed over a month ago. I think i was the second person to buy this bed from Hawkins Woodshop. I was nervous about it but I’m so glad I did. First of, I built the whole thing alone. It said I needed a drill but it’s literally for 1 step. That’s it. I have never built anything before and the instructions were very clear in my opinion. I read other comments about the bed popping “up”. That will happen if the boxes you use under are too tall and keep the frame up (Speaking from experience). I bought the 45 quart containers from Costco and they are a perfect match. I just ordered another set of containers to organize better. Just make sure the containers are inside the frame & not directly under. I just ordered another set of containers to organize better. Also, the mechanism that keeps the bed up when you open to arrange your storage has to be strong. Otherwise, it would not hold the mattress up and just fall back down. Once I put the mattress on the frame, there’s mechanism just stayed down. There’s a certain threshold for the weight needed to make it stay down. Overall, 10/10. So happy with this purchase. Ignore the negative comments.

Good quality, great customer service
The bed is nice quality, looks as expected. Was worried about purchasing without a review but the company was very responsive. One of the hydraulics had no pressure and they sent us a replacement part within a couple days with same day responses and follow up. You need two people to make the bed, took us about three hours. Happy with our purchase!
