I've had this bed frame with a 12-inch mattress for about four months now, and I'm really happy with it. The assembly instructions were clear, and I put it together in about 30 minutes using a drill and some Hex bits. The size is, and the full mattress fits just right. It arrived in great condition and still looks nice after a few months. I’m on the heavier side, and my kids love to jump on it, claiming it’s more comfortable than theirs, so it’s held up well. All the pieces were well-cut and aligned great. The illuminated headboard is a cool feature; it works as a nice night light when my kids come in. It even has some foam insulation to stop any noise between the mattress and the frame. If I could change a couple of things: the small storage drawers are made of cardboard wrapped in fabric—I think wooden ones would last longer.
