Pretty well built for a cheaper priced bed. It's sturdy and was not hard to put together had good instructions. Lights are brite. I would recommend this bed if you looking to save money and have a sturdy bed. We have this one at our lake house. Bought one similar two years ago for my step son and his bed is still holding up really well was worth the purchase.
