No mattress topper needed!!
Yall im obsessed with this bed. I just moved apartments and was starting fresh with my furniture. Of course a bed and mattress was a priority. I did spend about two hours looking on Hawkins Woodshop for a bed in a box and I’m so glad I took a chance on this one. The queen size is absolutely perfect for what I was looking for, and it gives the height without needing a boxspring. I’ve never slept good on firm beds, but soft mattresses really affect my back and hips. This hybrid mattress is honestly the perfect mix of both. One thing I do regret is that my bed is entirely too comfortable and that’s not even an exaggeration!! I’m not getting paid to say these things and I don’t even write reviews very often but this bed I had to speak about. The balance between soft and cozy, but still supportive is perfect. I was fully prepared to buy a Tempur-pedic mattress topper to throw on top of this thing. Glad I didn’t buy one before trying it out. The day I got it I let it fill out for about 7 to 8 hours. I did have to sleep in my bed that night and the top layer was a little bumpy still so I was a little worried. I’d be sleeping on it too soon. By the time I woke up all the bumps had flattened out and it’s almost like it needed the extra weight to fully smooth out. There was no odor or anything that sparked up a red flag. I’ve literally been bragging to all my friends about how comfortable this is. I’m so thankful I took a chance on this instead of breaking the bank at a mattress store.

I was pleasantly surprised by this mattress. It expanded quickly after opening and was very comfortable from the first night. It provides a nice balance of softness and support, and I woke up without the usual aches. For the price, the quality is excellent, and it has been a great addition to our guest room.
