Great frame for the price, solid and easy to put together
I was a bit worried about the support beams since I'd seen some reviews saying they'd fall out, but no issues here—they feel solid and took a bit of work to fit right. It took me about 30-45 minutes to put it together by myself; the instructions are mostly pictures but pretty easy to follow, and all the parts were labeled. I just used it for the first night, and so far, there's no noise, and it feels really stable. I have a 10-inch mattress on it, and it doesn’t slide much at all, although there is a tiny bit of movement if you're pushing it around. I’ve seen some folks mention the headboard height is too short, but I think it’s with my mattress—it’s just a bit above the mattress level, so it might slide under if you push against it. Pros: - Easy to put together - Sturdy - The support beams hold well - My 10-inch mattress stays put - No noise (but we’ll see) - No need for a box spring Cons: - The box is heavy; I’m 5’ and had to get some help bringing it in - If your mattress is lighter, you might see some sliding - Some pieces need a bit of muscle to fit together. I found that placing the headboard against the wall while seated at the footboard made it easier to get the metal beams aligned and into place. - The black finish can chip a bit if you're too forceful, but the dark gray underneath isn’t too noticeable.
