Not real solid wood

It is a really beautiful piece not as sturdy of a piece I thought it would be for the fact that it isn’t real solid wood. I love it though and I like that the platform is made with both metal and wood slats. I just hope it holds up! The bed I replaced for this was an old solid wood frame I had for 20yrs plus. I’m a lil scared but hey let’s see. It’s also esthetically pleasing 🙂
