I really wanted to hate this but I'm very much in love with it
Listen I'm absolutely not a reviewer, so the fact I'm writing one is a big deal. I was hesitant to keep the product after an issue with ordering but I begrudgingly kept it. Upon opening I was very surprised at how clean and nice it looked. I was able to put this together myself, because I'm a strong independent woman who don't need no man. Truly, was honestly easy. Took me about 2 hours. I also used my own Allen wrench set that I ripped from my husband's toolbox. The directions were pretty clear with photos, which is great for me because reading is rough for my 39 year old self when trying to put together. The photos again, easy to follow along. All the hardware was there and was easy to keep track of. The bed is very nice quality. It is sturdy. It is great for the money! It does scratch easily though, so keep that in mind, my oopsiedaisy not the actual product. I will buy this in a lighter color for my daughter's room when I'm ready for it becuse I am that impressed by it. I did also use my drill to tighten up the screws already installed in the bed - just cause I have a mental condition I need to do it. The bed is quiet and perfect for my son's room. The only thing I don't like is there's no lip to keep the mattress in place, but I have it against the wall so it's more than perfect for my 3 year old and myself when I need to sleep in it. Highly recommend a 12 inch mattress for it as well if you're tall. So the only "bad" about it is the lack of a lip for the mattress to stay in place & it scratches easily when you drag a piece of metal on it by accident. 10/10 would recommend buying for $200.00. Very much worth that cost.
