Sleep shouldn’t be complicated. The ® 12-Inch Quilted Hybrid Mattress is the softest option in the lineup — a medium-plush mattress with a stretch-knit euro pillow-top cover that delivers a noticeably more cushioned initial feel than the standard gel hybrid. The quilted surface layer enhances conforming properties and provides immediate softness on contact. Below it, a gel memory foam comfort layer draws heat away from the body and relieves pressure at the hips, shoulders, and lower back. An encapsulated steel coil base provides the structured support and responsiveness that keep the mattress from feeling too soft or unstable — so the plush surface feel is balanced by a system that helps maintain proper spinal support through the night. This mattress suits side sleepers and those who prefer a softer feel without sacrificing structural integrity. Low motion transfer and independent coil response make it a strong choice for couples. Compatible with adjustable bases and all standard flat foundations. Ships compressed in a box and unboxes without tools. Unpack, unroll, and allow 24 to 72 hours to fully recover before use. CertiPUR-US certified foam tested for content, emissions, and durability. Backed by a 10-year limited warranty. Available in Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King, and California King.

Highly recommend this mattress!! Perfect for plus size people

I love our new mattress!! We've slept on it for nearly a week now and I cant believe how nice it is for the price. Glad I trusted the other reviews on here. My partner and I are both over 200 lbs so we needed something with plenty of support. Our last mattress was so cheap it had pits and broken springs after only 1 year. This is the complete opposite. Its firm enough that I barely sink into it, but the memory foam layer adds enough plush to make it comfortable when I sleep on my side, although my boyfriend says it's not the most comfortable when he sleeps on his side so do with that what you will. But he is ultimately still much more comfortable. We let it rise for 12 hours before sleeping on it and it was fine. I could not bare to sleep on our last mattress another night to give it the full 24 hours. My boyfriend has sleep apnea and tends to wake up frequently to readjust because of it, and I havent felt any motion transfer from him and my sleep has improved so much. I cant say enough good things about this bed. I'll try to remember to update in a few months after it's been broken in.

This is a life changer if your back pain is indeed being caused by your mattress

My wife was complaining that our previous mattress was causing back pain and I guess at some point we went through flipping the mattress and her back pain stopped and mine eventually started in a big way. Our previous mattress was the very top of the line from the manufacturer (The Camelot) but was 11 years old. I'm not one to jump at advice if it involves shoveling out money and thought my back pain was being caused by degenerative disc disease for which I had surgery for 12 years ago. Anyway, with the new top of the line mattress from the other manufacturer now costing around $2,500 I felt a little sick at the thought of buying a replacement because if I followed the advice of mattress manufacturer I "should" be replacing the mattress in around 5 years. I bought this mattress after spending a few days looking around Hawkins Woodshop and elsewhere. I thought to myself, even if this thing is not durable or is a total mistake, I'm out less than $300 and the reviews I'm looking at appear to be legitimate and if they are, this seemed like it was a good buy. Now the only question was would it be a good buy for someone now on their 4th mattress 30 years into adulthood,.... That was to be seen. My wife and I have slept on this mattress 11 nights now with one night in between at a hotel while visiting our daughter at college. I can tell you that within 1-2 nights the back pain had improved tremendously and both my wife and I have been getting great nights sleep. And while the hotel we stayed at visiting my daughter was a Homewood Suites and overall the hotel was great, both my wife and had a lousy night sleep and both woke up with somewhat sore backs which is unusual for my experience with the Hilton line. We returned home and within a night my back pain was gone again. I'm very pleased with this purchase so far but it's early on. It feels well made, it isn't noisy and it doesn't give in greatly as I sit on the edge (I'm over 6' tall and over 250lbs.) I hope to come back and update my review after a year or so but early on I was so eager with how much better my back feels I just wanted to share my experience.

Great Product. Horrible Delivery Experience..

Update: After 5 years, this mattress is still going strong. No noticeable wear beyond a few stains here and there, and still comfortable and supportive. I now have 2 great danes, and the mattress stands up to our combined 500+lbs without an issue. When the dogs walk across the bed, there's very little transfer of movement. No regrets with this purchase. Original Review:My story starts 22 years ago with a dream of someday owning a Great Dane... Two years ago, I got my dream dog. I marveled as he practically grew before my eyes, and I welcomed him openly into my heart, my home, my life, and my bed. Unfortunately that bed was only a full sized one and it took me a few months to realize that my sudden sleepless nights and increased back and neck pain was largely due to sharing a small bed with a dog the same size as I am. It was past time for an upgrade. I spent months comparing mattresses from different stores. I originally decided on full memory foam but changed my mind because reviews claimed that they would sag and dip over time. A hybrid seemed like a good choice for support and longevity while offering the benefits of memory foam. I had reservations about the whole "mattress in a box" deal, but others seemed satisfied, so I swallowed my fears. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the purchase, but delivery was a nightmare. It was delayed due to weather and the ups driver tried to immediately hoist the ~90lb package over the fence instead of waiting for me to answer the bell. The box was shredded with both ends open to the snow, and it (and the driver) reeked of Marijuana. I ended up leaving the box outside and just bringing the mattress in to avoid having the smell in my home. Due to the condition of the packaging, the unboxing and care instructions were lost in the snow for a few days, so we had some difficulty unwrapping the mattress and it began expanding before it was settled properly. We did some flipping and worked things out. The mattress expanded 90% immediately and appeared to be fully expanded within a few days. It is a very firm mattress. I don't find it uncomfortable, but I expected the memory foam to be softer. I've been sleeping on it for two weeks and my neck and back pain is much better, including the pain not related to my giant dog. I took away a star because the edges of the mattress do seem weak and dip under my weight. Overall, for the price I'm very satisfied with the product. As a bonus, I was able to purchase this on a monthly payment plan with.

Surprising King Size Comfort

We ordered the Vibe hybrid King mattress to replace our 12 year old foam mattress which had developed the dreaded impressions where we slept and was no longer providing good back support. Never having ordered a mattress on Hawkins Woodshop, I did my research and chose this one from Vibe considering price and a lot of good reviews. Our old mattress had cost $1800 12 years ago and was now probably a minimum of $2500 on sale, so I figured spending under $400 for a mattress, even if it only lasted 4 or 5 years, would put us money ahead. We unboxed it about 6 o’clock in the evening and slept on it that night and it is pretty darn comfortable! I generally sleep on my back and side and toss and turn a lot, hubby sleeps on his back 90% of the time and we both seem to be comfortable. One tip that I have is when you’re unboxing it before you cut that plastic, make sure You have the mattress turned so that the top is up because once it inflates and it does that really fast depending on your space, you may have Trouble flipping it. We have a ceiling fan and so we had to be strategic about getting the mattress turned right side up on our old boxsprings which still have great support without knocking the ceiling fan off. The mattress didn’t really have a strong smell unless I put my nose right down to it. The mattress seems well-made and has a lovely pillow top. Neither of us can feel the other one move in the bed and there’s no noise at all. I chose not to put our topper on it because it doesn’t seem to need it. It has good support and nice cushy comfort. Time will tell but so far, quite happy with our purchase and will give a further update if I can in a year or so.

Sleeping peacefully!

I'm coming up on almost two weeks now of having slept on this mattress. What do I think? Well, the journey to getting here was long. I don't have a whole lot of money but desperately needed a whole new bed set; the idea of a box in a bed for under $200 (twin) seemed rather bizarre. Now I can say I'm glad I did it, and more importantly: I'm glad I went with this brand. Let's get it out of the way: this mattress is on the firmer side. Some people seem disappointed by this, but I also suspect they failed to realize that this matress is aimed for stomach sleepers, as well as back and side sleepers. I sleep on both my stomach and my side, and so it's imperative that I have a firmer mattress; plush memory foam + stomach sleepers = bad times. Sleeping on my stomach, on this matress, is a dream come true! I adore it! And for those nights where I'm sleeping on my side, I immediately get a sense of the 4 inches of comfort foam. It's great! That said, this bed isn't perfect. 12 inches? Nah, it's more like 10½, maybe 11. Worse: the bed isn't perfectly even. It has a tendency to slightly curve downwards at either end. So, if you're someone who sleeps pressed against your headboard, you're gonna want to pull away some or get a quality pillow because it's probably a 1½ difference. I've seen some complain that they feel the springs — I can't say I feel them. I'm currently laying in bed right now and it's nothing but cushion! It's also hard to say if the mattress sleeps warm... Obviously I sleep with a comforter (I bought one brand new for this mattress), so where does mattress warmth and comforter warmth begin and end? Who knows! I sleep warm, that's all I can say; going into Winter, I appreciate that. So, to end this, I will say: I'm very pleased with the quality for the price. There are some minor problems, like the curved ends, but I'll adapt. I' curious to see how it holds up after a year or two; for the price, I almost don't even care if the mattress is in poor shape after 2-3 years. It'd be easy enough to replace again! Heck, I hope in a 2-3 years, my living situation will demand something a bit larger, so it's almost ideal to have this cheaper twin mattress as I'm making transitions. Recommend it!

Loving this bed

When I first got this I legit was excited for this baby. My old bed pretty much could fold on itself and stay that way which a normal spring mattress shouldn't be able to do. Switching from that to this made things so much nicer. Right from unboxing it was a little curved but after cutting the air tight plastic bag it was in it straightened right out. Popped up to 11" right from the start and about 2 hours in with my fan on it the bed at full blast the parts hit by the air were at 12" the parts not were maybe around 11.5"-11.75". I did sleep on it that night and let me tell you all that back pain I had from sleeping on that old mattress was pretty much gone. I mean I legit felt my back start to go back into place which was weird but sooo soothing It is on the firm side from my experience but I weigh about 186-189 at 6' 3". I am sure if you weighed more than me you'd experience it a lot better. I will state this though it did have a small chemical smell at first but went away the next day. The package didn't come in Hawkins Woodshop box so if you ordered it can have it be picked up or even be there for the delivery you can avoid people stealing it since come on... The box is legit screaming expensive item on it sadly. I do recommend getting a bed bug cover with it, only costs 25 extra on Hawkins Woodshop. Nothing like extra insurance with the fact these stupid bugs can pop up from anywhere. Also the bed doesn't give off a huge pillow top feel to it at first but after a day or two it is slightly there. If you have a box fan using it on the bed should speed up that 24 hour grow rate. Other than that best bed I bought since the one my sister gave me that was a queen pillowtop that costed like 650 or something.5/5 would recommend to everyone for what it costs and the quality of it. Heck I'd give it a 7/5 if I could... You know what it is a strong 7/5.
