A bed without a headboard always looks a little unfinished, and this twin panel is an easy way to close that gap. The face is upholstered in beige fabric over foam and worked in a quilted box stitch pattern, a contemporary look that sits quietly in a guest room, a teenager's room, or a first apartment without forcing the rest of the furniture to match it.
The panel itself measures 39.25 inches wide, 2.5 inches deep, and 22 inches tall. The part worth paying attention to is underneath. Two black metal stands carry adjustable bed rail slots, so the overall height can be set anywhere from 41.75 inches up to 54.25 inches. That range does real work. If you sleep on a tall frame or a thick mattress and box spring, you can raise the panel so it still reads as a headboard instead of disappearing behind your pillows. On a low platform bed, drop it down and it sits close.
Materials are fabric, foam, metal, and polyester, with a metal frame doing the structural work. The whole thing weighs about 20 pounds, light enough for one person to carry upstairs and hold in place while the bolts go in. The legs ship in a compartment behind the headboard rather than loose in the carton, which saves the usual hunt through packing material. It attaches to standard bed frames, so if you already own a metal frame with bolt holes, you are most of the way there.
Upkeep is minimal. Wipe the fabric with a dry cloth as needed. The headboard carries a 5 year limited manufacturer warranty. Beige is a forgiving choice in a bedroom, since it works against white bedding, warm woods, and darker walls alike, and it does not date the way a bold color does.
