Assembly tips for a great nightstand
I just got this really nice antique-style nightstand, and I love it! The build and finish are spot on for me. Putting it together is pretty simple if you take your time to check everything first. I recommend doing a test assembly without fully tightening the bolts. About the supposed misaligned holes for the bottom shelf – that’s not the case. Just make sure you don’t fully tighten the leg bolts before you get the shelf into place. Once you have the legs loosely assembled, the shelf fits right on. It’s just a matter of getting it all lined up before tightening everything evenly. One thing to note is that it can be a bit top heavy, so if you have it on plush carpet, it might tip over if you lean against it or open the drawer. But no worries, it comes with little plastic shims for the front feet that fix that issue. Overall, it looks and has a real antique vibe, not just some cheap replica. Happy with my purchase!
