Simple & elegant
This piece was easy to put together & great quality for the price. Using it as a make-up vanity but love that I can use as desk as well. Nice drawers. Simple & elegant that would fit many design styles.

Stunning Design and sturdy!
I couldn’t be happier with this desk! It has a beautiful, clean aesthetic that instantly made my home office look more professional. Beyond the looks, the build quality is excellent—it feels very stable and doesn't wobble at all while I'm typing. The drawer space is perfect for keeping my supplies organized, and the desk surface provides plenty of room for my dual-monitor setup without feeling cramped. It was also surprisingly easy to put together with clear instructions. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a high-quality, elegant workspace!

Beautiful but be prepared for a pain to put together
Everyone else on these reviews indicated 2 hours (or less) to put this desk together but I had a different experience. It took me maybe twice that. I had a few hiccups, and I should have waited until the next morning when I was fresh and full of coffee and energy. I think having 2 people would make it go fast. Also having an electric or battery operated screwdriver would be a lot faster too since there is a lot of screwing in and I did it manually with my trusty Phillips head. I took pictures of all the parts - there's a lot of them. Problems:One of the pieces scraped against my wall and left a long ugly black mark - eek! - so I had to scrub that off before it set. It will scratch a mark on your wall so be careful. Then in the beginning of the instructions on one part I wasn't sure about the placement, and thought I'd put two pieces in the wrong place - unscrewed them only to realize I was right the first time. There is a long piece of board that it would help having two people so one could hold the other end as you screw in the opposite end, since you have to screw it in at each end - I broke one of the dowels trying to do this. In the end the broken dowel didn't matter much but still.... And finally, for some reason the backs of my drawers would not sit flush on one side! I tried everything. Finally, I just put screwed in the side that was flush and left the screw out of the other side, and used the dang drawers like they were. They do work, but later I will take the drawers apart and see what I did wrong, or if I had a defective item. Since it did it on all three, I have to think it was something I did. But despite my problems, for the most part the directions were clear and easy to do. I was overthinking on some of it, and I struggled a little with the very beginning, and then at the end with the drawers. Also, on the drawers: you have to be a bit specific with them. After they are put together, pull out the metal slider things and make sure the ball bearings are to the front - then put the drawer onto the metal slider things (metal to metal) with the slider things pulled out - once you begin to close the drawers, they will seem as if they are stuck and you may start to a-cussin' (I did - teehee) - but you pull the drawers in and out a few times and suddenly the drawer easily slide in and work perfectly! This is a beautiful table. The parts are not cheap and thin - I was impressed with the quality for the price. I really didn't expect it to be so heavy and to be as nice as it is for the price I paid (at time of review, under $240). And my chair fits under it - I was worried at first that the drawers would make it too low but it didn't - the chair I just bought (beryth Home Office Chair No Arms with Wheels, Adjustable Height Small Desk Chair) fit perfectly under it with me sitting in it. Though this indicates it is black, it is not a stark or deep black. I detect brown in it but that happens to work out fine for me. Also, when delivered, be prepared for a rather heavy box. I'm a small woman but I was able to wrangle it inside, then slide it to my room. Some tips:--look at all the parts to be sure they are all there, and to get an idea of what goes where,--look through the instructions first - it may help you to know how you are going to proceed,--get someone to help with some of the larger parts, though I did manage on my own except for breaking the one dowel,--don't put the round screw things in until you are ready to tighten them since they are difficult to pull back out,--and finally, an electric or battery-operated screwdriver would make the work go faster. Manual screwing everything in takes a lot longer. The felt floor protectors are not good at all. If you have a wood floor, invest in different ones. Despite the troubles I had, I love the desk and it looks great and I don't regret buying it but I may have waited to put it together when I was fresh and not tired from work.
