My 7-year-old cat, Callie, is a big fan of this bed! She's never really liked round cat beds and prefers the window hammock or the couch most times. I decided to try this flat, self-warming one because it looked soft, and I'm glad I did! She knows it's her spot now and gets comfy right away. The fabric is soft and doesn't snag on her claws, which is great. I can't comment on the self-warming feature, but she seems at ease sleeping on it, often lying stretched out instead of curled. I put it on a cushioned ottoman to make it cozier, but it has enough padding to work just fine on the floor too. I'm happy with this purchase!

This soft, sherpa-like pad is awesome! Both of my cats have taken to it and will lounge there for quite a while. If your pets don’t seem to catch on right away, try putting a pillowcase or one of your old t-shirts on it—maybe sprinkle some catnip, too. Just keep in mind that it's a pad, not a thick bed, so don’t expect it to feel like a mattress. It doesn’t heat itself up but relies on their body heat, which is how it stays warm. It does make a bit of a crinkly noise, similar to clothes sticking together from static, but it’s not too loud. I placed this on a chair where we often sit, and after a few days, the cats finally felt comfortable enough to use it. I even got a similar one from another brand, but this one feels nicer and they seem to like both equally. Just be patient and put it in a spot they're already fond of—cats like being close to us! Overall, I’m happy with this purchase and would recommend it.
