These pillow covers are the real deal for being allergy and spill-proof. They do have a bit of a plastic feel on the inside, which is pretty normal for water-resistant covers. Firstly, they smell fresh right out of the package, and I am very particular! They're bright white and the material is very good quality. Very well made. Fits our standard pillows nicely. You can feel the waterproof coating sheen, but the polyester cover is actually quite soft. The covers do not make any crinkle sound! Zipper pulls are sturdy and open and close perfectly. An excellent deal for 4 covers!
