Easy to put together, quality product
I could give this product 10 stars if they let me. I am 76 years old and was able to put this together myself, even with 2 knee replacements. The instructions were just pictures but very easy to understand. I did have a short problem putting the door hinges on, but it was easy to figure out. All the pieces were there, even extra parts were given in case you lost something. Nothing was broken. I am very pleased with the quality and easy installation.

Surprised At How Nice This Is
I agree w/ what others have said about the instructions being a bit too small for some things (like the hinges). We had the same issue where we weren't sure if we were doing it right. So we made our best judgement and it worked out. Also, someone said the magnetic part isn't super strong when closing the door. Which is true but it's also not like the door is springing open at a result. It's plenty strong to keep the door shut and that's all you really need for it's purpose. Otherwise it would take more effort to open. So while some may interpret that as a flaw or weakness, i think it's actually a preferred design. But i was pleasantly surprised by how nice this looks in person. Like it looks like something you might have purchased at pottery barn or some nicer store. Even the top brown piece looks authentically nice! Also, there was no off gassing. I've had so many products from China that off gass, and this had none of that. It was very packed well. Reasonable to put together. Not quite as easy as Ikea. If Ikea was 5 stars for ease of putting something together, this was 4 stars. I was so impressed by the quality and value of this product that i actually went to look at what else this brand sells that we might want to get. It's not on the level of solid oak sturdiness but also not flimsee. We're using it to store board game, puzzles, etc. And it could even handle something a bit weighteir if needed. Felt like we were taking a chance on this but wow, did it pay off. Really, really pleased with this. It's actually something i feel proud of showing people when they come into our home.

Nice cabinet
This turned out to be a nice cabinet for the price. I picked it mainly because it was a complementary match to my room's wainscoting and the brown top followed the same color combination to my brown walls on top of the white wainscoting. Putting it together was fairly straightforward, following the pictograms, and the hardware was so well organized in labeled plastic pouches that there's no guessing as to which screw is which. Plus, they included a pouch of miscellaneous extra parts. If you, like me, put together any of the Lego Build kits, this is exactly like that - the pictures show which parts to use and where to put them and how they fit. I'm 67, female, and I put this together by myself. The only thing that could be awkward is putting on the doors. There are 3 hinges per door with 2 screws apiece. Holding onto the door while lining up the hinge hole and screwing in the first screw is impossible. But - I figured out a great tip: There are numerous pieces of styrofoam padding that comes with this, so I just found three of the thicker pieces that I stacked together which came to the same height as the base of the cabinet. Then, I just rested the bottom of the door on this styrofoam stack which lined it up with the hinge holes and makes it easy to screw in that first screw. Once you have one screw in each of the 3 hinges, remove the styrofoam stack and proceed to add the other 3 screws. Another tip - just like putting on a spare tire, one shouldn't tighten the first screw all the way. Place all the hinge screws in loosely, then rotate and tighten them ¾ of the way, then go around again and tighten all 6. This distributes the tension on the door and hinges evenly. My doors hang all evenly and are aligned straight across. I think some reviewers who complained that their doors don't match up or are crooked may not have tightened their hinge screws evenly. Third tip about the doors: The little plastic magnet closure for the doors can be adjusted. If you think the door should close more, loosen the screws and push the magnet back until the door closes where you want, then tighten them in place. I have the magnets pushed as far back as the screws allow, and my doors close flush under the wood top. These aren't strong magnets, but they keep the doors shut. Overall, this is a sturdy, good weight cabinet. The doors are lightweight, and I would be careful not to slam or abuse them, but this cabinet will serve a great purpose to store things and add to the decor.
