Finding a solid, narrow dining table with extensions felt impossible, especially in our small rental with no designated dining space. We ended up getting the table and a bench, which we had to position against the wall. The long pillow back, meant for a bed, is a lifesaver—so comfy! After seeing other reviews, we decided to treat the table right away, and it's been easy to clean with a damp cloth—no bubbles or damage, and it still looks brand new. The table is heavy and sturdy, packed tight for shipping, and we put it together ourselves without any wobbliness. It’s just beautiful and very solid. We had the delivery guy bring it to our door and tipped him for the help. Just a note: there are some variations of the table shown in reviews based on size, so keep that in mind. We went for the most narrow option to fit our space. We found some free Ikea chairs, added cushions and sheepskin throws, then velcroed it all together. Our guests were comfortable during a long meal—they easily fit 6, and even a high chair for our little one was at one end. Mom was thrilled!

Awesome table, strong and reliable
I'm really pleased with this table; it’s been serving as a work surface for me. I recently set up a new office, and while I thought my old desk was fine, my wife insisted I needed an update. She discovered this table and recommended it. I checked it out and, with the sale price, it seemed like a steal. It did take a little time to assemble, but it wasn't too difficult. Once it's all put together, it’s a big table. It feels solid and heavy, which I like. I do need to watch where I place heavy stuff on it since it can tip if loaded on one side too much. But if you’re using it for dining, that won’t be an issue at all. I do handle heavy cases of ammunition, which isn’t typical for this kind of table, so I'm not going to fault it there. Overall, the table is sturdy. The surface looks good but has some small lines that might not bother most folks for eating, but they do matter for a workspace. If you’re looking for a dining table, this one’s. As a desk, it's quite good as well. If I come across something even better in the future, I'd be happy to swap it out!
