Perfect for Our Son's Room
I really love this piece! Honestly, it's even better than I thought it would be. I had my doubts after seeing some other reviews, but I wanted to share my thoughts. First off, this furniture is pretty heavy and feels solid. It's got a wood veneer finish, but it looks nice and not at all cheap. Since we have some good quality furniture already, I was worried about matching it, but this fits right in. It's just what we needed for our son’s room. I appreciate that the veneer makes it smooth, which is ideal for little ones. It does look shorter than what some pictures show—you’d think it would be around 58 inches, but it’s actually just below 54 inches. I thought about raising it up but realized that wouldn't work because it would leave a visible gap behind the pillows. The rustic style is for a boy's room. My husband needed to pick up some different bolts for assembly, but that's no big deal. I even ordered the 5-drawer chest to go with it! While it’s not exactly heirloom quality, it’s a lot of fun for now. And the price beats what I found elsewhere—I’ve been loving the look of this collection the most.

This piece is a great find for the price. It's not actual wood, but it sure looks like it! Feels pretty sturdy, too. We did have a bit of a challenge getting it attached to the existing frame, so we ended up screwing it into the wall instead. Everyone who's checked it out has really loved it.

This is really great and better than I expected. I was concerned after reading some of other reviews, so I'll give you my input. First of all, it's a very heavy piece of furniture. It is wood veneer overlay, but it looks really good, not cheap. All of our other furniture is really nice, so I was a bit concerned about the quality. This is perfect for our son's room. I also like (because it's veneer) that it is smooth--which I think is great for kids. It doesn't seem as high as some of the marketing pictures. I had hoped that it would be at least 58 inches as noted on some websites, but it is actually just under 54 inches high. I also planned on trying to raise it, but wasn't able to do that because the there would have been an opening behind the pillows. Anyway, it's rustic looking and I think it's great for a boy's room. My husband did have to go to the hardware for some different bolts, but that wasn't a big deal. I just ordered the 5 drawer chest to match. Obviously these aren't heirloom quality pieces, but they will be fun for now. The price is great compared to other things I was looking out--and all along I liked the look of this collection the best.

Really awesome for the price. It is not real wood but it looks it. It is quite sturdy. We had trouble attaching it to the frame that we already had so we screwed it in to the wall. Everyone who has seen it, loves it.
