Nearly airline approved for international travel
I found this kennel to be the closest to what airlines require. It's USDA and IATA approved, which is great if you're traveling internationally. There are 11 plastic bolt holes, but you'll need to buy metal nuts and bolts to go with it. We ended up needing 15 for our airline, so plan ahead! The kennel has pre-drilled zip tie holes, which is hard to find, and that's a must to secure the doors. Make sure to do it yourself; I've seen it done wrong by others. The single metal door is solid, which meets guidelines. It has side handles and air holes on all four sides with metal grates, which is better for ventilation. The food dishes are deep and accessible, but I recommend bringing extra water supplies since they might not feed your pets during the travel. It comes with stickers too, but they don't stick well, so bring replacements. Get this kennel—it's a good investment for your pet's safety during travel!
