The trouble with most slim side tables is that they solve the space problem and create a cord problem. You gain a surface next to the sofa, then run an extension cord across the walkway to charge anything on it. These two put the outlet in the furniture. Each table carries one AC outlet, one USB port, and one Type-C port, fed by a power strip on a 4.9 foot cord that reaches a wall receptacle without forcing you to rearrange the room to close the distance.
At 7.9 inches wide, they are genuinely narrow, and that is the point. A table this slim slides into the gap between a sofa arm and a wall, or between two recliners, where a standard end table simply will not go. Each one stands 22.6 inches tall and 15.7 inches long, which puts the top near sofa arm height, close enough that a drink or a phone is right where your hand expects it. Two open shelves sit below for books, remotes, and snacks, with enough surface left over for a small plant or a framed photo.
The build is particleboard and metal. Each shelf is rated to hold 22.6 pounds, so a stack of hardcovers or a decent table lamp is well within range, though this is not the table for a cast iron sculpture. The finish is smooth and wipes clean, which matters on a piece that sits at snack height. Rustic brown with black reads warm next to leather and does not clash with a dark television across the room.
Assembly is about as easy as flat pack gets. The wooden legs twist into place rather than requiring a bag of bolts and a hex key, and each table ships with its own accessory kit and instructions. Getting both out of the box and standing is a short job, not an afternoon of it.
