Great weight with a shiny finish

I chose this turntable weight for a couple of reasons. First off, it’s a nice middle-ground in terms of weight—lighter ones felt too small, and the heavier options seemed like too much for my vintage turntable, which is already quite heavy itself. Second, I've had good experiences with Hawkins Woodshop and their reasonably priced products. This weight looks like it’s made of steel and has a stunning chrome finish—it's shiny enough to use as a small mirror in a pinch! I feel like it’s solid enough that if I dropped it, it wouldn't break, though it might scratch whatever it lands on!
