Great for creating an eerie vibe!
I’m really impressed with these lights! They create the mysterious atmosphere I was after for Halloween. Keep in mind that the warm white has an orange hue and resembles flames, but I love how the flickering effect looks in the lanterns. Don’t expect them to provide a lot of light—they're mainly for ambiance! The string is nice and long, and while the lights are about 6 to 8 inches each, they’re sturdy and well-made. I even had them out during a rainstorm last night, and they still worked perfectly today.

I'm in the process of setting up our covered deck and wanted some soft solar lights for a nice glow. I found these, and they’re fantastic—my husband and I both love them! They give off just the right amount of light to see without being so bright that bugs swarm around. With these lights and our big citronella candle, we can enjoy the evening without any issues. The solar panel is giant, much larger than any I’ve seen before, and even at 5 am, they were still flickering while the other little solar lights died out. I used some black cable ties to keep the cord along our iron railing, so you barely notice it except near the lights, which is exactly what I wanted. The lead from the solar panel is long enough to give some flexibility in where you place them. It rained heavily while I was installing them—took about 15-20 minutes—and they held up great, proving they’re waterproof. There’s even a switch on the solar panel to turn the lights off and on. Overall, we’re happy with this purchase. The flickering candle effect was a delightful surprise since I was just looking for regular lights. They’re cute, work better than I expected, and were simple to install. I would highly recommend these!
